Product: THE FIELD

You might be wondering what The Field is and how all of this fits together. The Field is still developing, but the direction is straightforward: it’s a place to work through complex ideas in sports gambling, financial index design, and data-driven modeling — and to explain them in a way that makes sense whether or not you come from those fields. A lot of what I’m building here comes from experiments, early models, and ongoing analysis. Some of the work is technical, some conceptual, and some exploratory. The goal is to make the reasoning behind each step clear enough that anyone interested — regardless of background — can follow the logic, understand the choices, and see how the pieces connect. As the project grows, the writing and structure will evolve with it. You’ll see explanations become clearer, models become stronger, and the overall direction sharpen over time. This isn’t about presenting a polished product right away; it’s about documenting the development process in a way that’s accessible, transparent, and useful. What started as a simple idea has turned into something I want to keep building. It’s early, but it’s taking shape — and this space is where that work will continue.
